22. 대신공원

자연의 품에서 숨 쉴 수 있는 도심 속 힐링 공간

부산 서구에는 쭉쭉 뻗은 편백나무 사이 산책로를 거닐며 산림욕을 할 수 있는 도심 속 자연공원인 대신공원이 있습니다.

1900년 구덕산과 엄광산 계곡, 두 곳의 수원지를 만들면서 울창한 산림을 조성한 것에서 출발한 대신공원은 오랜 시간 수원지 보호를 위해 일반인 출입을 금지해왔습니다. 덕분에 삼나무와 편백나무 벚나무 등 수령 70년이 넘은 나무들이 울창하게 숲을 이뤘죠. 1968년 낙동강이 부산의 상수도 수원이 되고 나서 대신공원이란 이름의 근린공원으로 일반인에게 개방되었는데요, 1986년에는 대청공원과 더불어 중앙공원이란 이름으로 통합됐지만 부산 시민들은 여전히 대신공원으로 부르고 있습니다.

제18회 아름다운 숲 전국대회 시상식에서 아름다운 숲 누리상을 수상한 대신공원 편백나무 숲은 산책로가 잘 조성되어 걷기 좋은 길입니다. 바람에 흔들리는 나뭇잎 소리, 새소리를 벗삼아 산책로를 걷다 보면 계곡물이 흘러 모인 수원지와 물맛 좋은 약수터를 만날 수 있습니다. 또, 시인들의 시구절을 새긴 시비가 있어 사색의 시간을 가질 수도 있습니다.

공원 한쪽에는 무형문화재의 전승과 보급, 미풍양속의 계승을 위한 목적으로 설립된 구덕민속예술관이 있는데요, 서부산 지역의 전통문화의 전당인 이곳에서는 구덕골 전통민속예술축제가 개최되어 우리 전통놀이의 원형의 맥을 이어가기 위한 장이 마련되기도 합니다.

부산 서구에는 쭉쭉 뻗은 편백나무 사이 산책로를 거닐며 산림욕을 할 수 있는 도심 속 자연공원인 대신공원이 있습니다.
Daeshin Park in Seo-gu, Busan, is a natural park in the city where you can soak in the forest as you walk along a trail among the tall cypress trees.

Entry to Daeshin Park, which started as forests formed by the creation of two water sources in the valleys of Mt. Gudeoksan and Mt. Eomgwangsan, was prohibited to the public for a long time to protect the water sources. Thanks to this, it became a dense forest with trees over 70 years old including cedar, cypress and cherry trees. After the Nakdong River became Busans water supply source in 1968, Daeshin Park was opened to the public as a neighborhood park. In 1986, it was integrated with Daecheong Park and called Jungang Park, but Busan citizens still call it Daeshin Park.

Daeshin Parks cypress forest, which won the Beautiful Forest Nuri Award at the 18th National Beautiful Forest Contest Awards Ceremony, has well-made trails for walking. If you walk along the trail with the sound of leaves rustling in the wind and bird songs, you will come across a water source from the valley and a mineral spring with tasty water. Also, there is a monument with the verses of poets engraved on it, so you can have a time of contemplation.

On one side of the park is the Gudeok Folk Art Museum, which was established for the purpose of handing down and distributing intangible cultural assets and inheriting good customs. It is the hall of traditional culture in the Seobusan region, and the Gudeokgol Traditional Folk Art Festival is held here to provide a venue to continue the original form of traditional Korean games.
