In addition to the regional emergency medical center and regional cardio/cerebrovascular center designated by the
Ministry of Health and Welfare, it operates an oncology center, a Novalis radiation center, a breast center, and
an international medical center
In 2007, it opened the only Da Vinci Robotic Surgery Center in the Busan-Gyeongnam area, and it has since
performed 2,000 robotic surgeries.
Currently, robotic surgery is widely used in urology, thoracic surgery, otolaryngology, obstetrics and gynecology,
and breast surgery. Furthermore, robotic surgery is used to remove tumors from the body using a variety of
approaches.
