Start the bright New Year with Sunrise in Songdo!

This event is held on January 1st every year at Songdo Beach under the Songdo Tourism Cooperative to wish Development of Seo-gu and wellness of locals and tourists.

There are pre-sunrise activities including folksongs, North Korean performance and other various new year celebration. During the sunrise, there will be new year performances and traditional Korean customs. Also there will be warm beverages for tourists, bonfire around a sandy beach and Tteokguk (sliced rice cake soup) to share wishes for the new year.
